READ: HEBREWS 11:8-10
Abraham was living a comfortable life. He had it made. He had a deluxe double-wide tent by an oasis in the desert. Life was good. One day God interrupted his comfort. He said, “Abraham, I’ve got something better in store for you. Pack up your stuff and go. I will show you the way.” Abraham asked, “Where are we going?” and God said, “Don’t worry about it. Trust me. I have an amazing future for you.” And Abraham packed up and left. Sometimes you just have to trust God and go before you know. If you and I are to find God’s sweet spot and claim our promised land, we may have to step out in faith and go before we know. When you feel a holy nudge knocking you out of your comfortable world, you have to go, even if you are not sure where it will lead.
Don’t spend your whole life getting ready for what God wants you to do, without ever doing it. Prepare, gather information, study your options, but don’t let over-analyzing lead to spiritual paralysis. Take a step of faith. Go before you know. God will get you to where He wants you to be.
