We spent the morning at the Adam’s Park Boys and Girls Club in St. Louis, MO, and had a wonderfuln time! This is one of the largest Boys and Girls Clubs we’ve been to, and the facilities were very impressive. The young people we spent time with were great! One of our YWA members, Kayla Carr, was helping a little boy make a crown which he chose to decorate beautifully. When she started to put the crown on the little boy’s head to determine where she should tape it together, the little boy announced, in a very gentleman-like way, that the crown was for Kayla! We were also able to spend time on the playground and basketball court with the Adam’s Park kids, and, of course, the rainbow parachute got a workout, as well!
The audience was entertained by the Praise Band, the full YWA choir, and the YWA Puppets, and all of them, from the very youngest to the older teenagers seemed to really listen to the words being sung and the message being sent. It was another great day for the Frazer YWA spent with some of the coolest young people in St. Louis
