Pray for believers who are being persecuted for their faith in India
Jiwan called us just now to ask us to pray (and asked us to let you know) of a situation in a village called Kittini (where pastor Amor lives). Apparently there was a Buddhist man who had heard the gospel and wanted to follow Jesus. He threw away all his idols (on his own accord) and worshipped with the believers in the village. When his family heard about this they were very upset and began pressuring him to return to Buddhism. Now the police are involved and he has reported six members of the church, including the pastor. These are very serious charges and these brothers and sisters will have to go to court. Jiwan feels that the only way this will end is if this man drops the charges. Would you please pray that God would change this man’s heart? Also, pray for the believers that their faith would not waiver as they face this persecution and also for the police and judge who will over see and hear the testimony in this case.
Jiwan said that the spiritual darkness in Kittini and in Balasun is oppressive and he is asking us to lift up the Church in these small villages in India and Nepal.
Thank you for standing in the gap!
