Mystery Night was held at the Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville where we had a wonderful time! Who knew all these young people, and quite a few of the adults, could line dance so well?
Today is Senior Day for the 2013 YWA graduates and their parents, and we will be enjoying a special activity designed just for us. The rest of our group and chaperones will be enjoying the many stores and activities at Opry Mills Mall.
Tonight, our young people will be performing for the last time on this year’s choir tour; they will be singing at the Grand Ole Opry! What an amazing experience that will be for us all!!
Over and over and over again I have seen the Lord working through our young people on this choir tour. From the homeless and recovering drug and alcohol addicts at our first stop, Jacob’s Well Mission in Memphis, to the living legends we met and spent time with at the Veteran’s Home in Cape Girardeau, MO, to the children of the Boys and Girls Clubs in St. Louis, to the residents of the McKendree Retirement Community in Hermitage, TN, our youngsters never missed a beat Watching them easily interact with people of any age and from any circumstance was amazing! Many of the people we met were touched by God’s grace as was evident in their words and requests for prayer, and we were all very blessed, too. The song, “Open The Eyes of My Heart, Lord” started running through my head at our very first mission site, and it has stayed with me all week. I wish everu Frazer member could go on choir tour with the Youth Worship Arts group; you would see amazing and wonderful things from our children!
