Gutsy Faith

READ: Hebrews 11:6
Do you know that God wants to bless you? God wants to make the impossible possible for you. God has a beautiful plan and purpose and direction for your life, but to receive what God has to give you requires a gutsy faith. Gutsy faith is believing even when it is hard to believe, when it makes no sense to believe, believing even when everyone around you says you are nuts for believing.
Here is the deal. We want God’s blessings, we want to be in God’s perfect will for our lives, but sometimes we want it on our terms. “Hey God, prove yourself to me first, answer my questions, take away my doubts, and then I’ll believe you,” we say in our hearts, and God says, “No, that’s not how it works. Believe and then you will know.” We say, “God show me a miracle and then I will believe,” but God says, “No, it doesn’t work that way. First you believe and then you will be able to perceive miracles all around you.” Without faith, the Bible says, it is impossible to please God, to receive all that He has to give you. What have you really believed God for lately? Remember, without faith it is impossible to please God.
