I love refrigerator magnets, not the junky flimsy kind, but the strong, can’t pull them off kind. As a child, most of us played with them, moving other magnets with the opposite pole, making designs on paper with them, holding stuff, finding lost stuff, and just picking up stuff. My family / friends and God’s Word are important to me. I like to see scriptures and pictures of family and friends held to the fridge with strong magnets. Like magnets, our love for God and others is what holds us up, keeps us connected, and helps us find what’s missing in our lives. The strength of our connection is part of God’s design. In 1 Corinthians 12 we learn about unity in diversity, oneness without sameness. The church body is held together like a strong magnet by love! God’s Word also makes us strong, keeps us together, and holds us up. What is your favorite verse? Got a magnet? Put your favorite verse on your refrigerator! Scriptures are a great reminder of God’s love, protection, and provision. Your refrigerator can be a witness to all that come into your house! (Yes, I like a clean neat front of the fridge too; that’s why we mostly use the side that’s open to the cabinet!) Stick to God’s love, His Word, and other believers. You will grow stronger and others will be drawn to you!
