We are coming into that time of year when we have to watch for storms. As warm fronts and cold fronts collide, severe weather is produced. We have all seen and may have experienced the destructive power of tornadoes. Right now, weather experts on TV are telling us to get prepared, to install our weather radios, stock extra batteries, and make sure we have identified our safe place. The safe place is on the ground floor, an interior room, away from windows. The safe place is where you hunker down and ride out the storm. The Bible tells us that in the storms of life, the safest place to be is in the hands of God. No matter how destructive or powerful the storms, when you trust in God—when you have given your heart to Jesus and when you are building your life on God’s word—you will always be in a safe place. Today’s the day to put your life in the hands of God. Be safe!

One time when I was young we were at my grandmother’s house as we would go there as children when it was bad weather. She lived across the street from us. I asked her what to do if a tornado came and she led me to the window and sai if you see a tornado all you can do is pray. After that I was never afraid of bad weather and still now. I can sleep through a tornado siren. That’s for the mini sermon. I was a member of that wonderful church until I had to move away. I can’t find a church home like Fraser. I miss my church so much. I have been going since 2001. I keep up with you as it gives me such a warm and peaceful feeling. Thanks
