Transforming Montgomery one community at a time
by transforming one person as a result of the love of God in action
Community Impact Pastor Charlie Kendall writes:
It has been a long time since we spoke about God moving in Garden Square. The former Christian Testing Building belongs to Transformation Montgomery. It will be transformed into God’s Transformation Center for transforming people. There was a generous offering Christmas Eve from God’s people that yielded $119,000.00 for this to become a beacon of God’s light of hope in north Montgomery. Trans MGM now is the steward of a 7500 square foot building on seven acres of land and 7 houses in the Garden Square community. God is blessing this ministry to be a blessing to marginalized people.
Tomorrow, January 10th, we will be working on a House at 3509 Manley Drive. We will be removing carpet, vinyl flooring, cabinets and other items to prepare this house for renovations it can be rented.
On January 21st, a group of youth from one our local private schools will be doing lawn maintenance and removing debris fro the outside of the Transformation Center. Come be apart of this service day and make a difference on a national holiday, (MLK Day)..
Frazer’s Men’s Ministry will be doing a similar type project on Saturday February 16.
Hope you join us in the Garden.
