THINGS TO CONSIDER: Consider this passage as it relates to Stephen’s story in Acts. Stephen’s life was bold for Christ. Stephen’s death told the story of Christ. How many Christians are willing to stand up? How many Christians are willing to lay down their life for the cause of Christ?
ACTION: Think about the sacrifices of the past. The good news of eternal life through Jesus Christ reaches you as a result of many who lived like they were going to live forever with Jesus.
PRAYER: Ask God to help you live like the saints of the past, full of faith and the Holy Spirit. Pray that God will give you the courage and wisdom to live like you will live forever!
