This morning I got asked by Bryan to lead the opening prayer. I told Bryan that it was out of my comfort zone but I realized that these people didn’t care if I messed up. So I led the opening prayer. Once I started it felt great. I can’t remember what I said, but the Lord put words in my mouth. Thank God. The morning was incredible. I met a woman who was from Argentina; she was a nurse. She traveled all over the world– Paris, England, etc. She came to Miami and was a school nurse in the public school system. She lost her job and was homeless for the past two years. She seemed strong and did not look to be to worn down from living on the streets. We talked for a while and then she packed up and was on her way. I enjoyed talking to her she was open, honest and had faith that her situation would change. I am looking forward to tomorrow.
