One of the boys at the Salvation Army was autistic. He very seldom stays when groups come in to work with the kids. He really wanted us to leave when we bombarded the place. But then the puppet team started putting the puppet stage together. He saw the puppets and became a different child. He would not talk to anyone, but with a puppet in his hand, he would talk to people. He was laughing and interacting with us. This ministry touched this child in a very special way. Afterwards, when we saw how much this helped him, we took up a collection so that we could buy him a puppet.
Thanks for sharing this everyone. It touches my heart and proud you are carrying without me.!
