The Mission Team getting ready to depart Sunday for Cuba consists of 5 couples: Brent and Betty Smith, Larry and Mary Lou Stevenson, Truman Hornsby and Linda Hines, Mike and Lisa Conn, and John and Karen Brantner. (Aimee Conn helped plan and prepare for the trip but due to an injury, will not be able to go with us. We’ll miss her talent and enthusiasm.) While in Cuba, we’ll work almost exclusively with our sister church in Guanabacoa, about a 40- minute drive from the Methodist Center in Havana where we’ll be staying. The theme for our trip is “Building Family Teams for Christ.” This week we’re all busy with final preparations and packing. Everyone was given specific tasks to perform and materials to gather. It has truly been and will continue to require a team effort. We’re so excited about this God-given opportunity to share the love of Christ with our Cuban friends. We invite the Frazer family to pray with and for us throughout our trip. We depart Montgomery on November 10th and return November 18th. Specifically, pray that:
*Our flights are on time and our luggage all arrives intact
*God will be glorified in every aspect of our trip
*God’s love will radiate in and through each of us
*We have a hedge of protection around us throughout the trip
*We each grow closer and deeper in our relationships with Christ
*Our family members back home remain safe and healthy
*Frazer is well represented through our words and deeds
*We are all sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit
*We are bold in sharing our faith and witness with others
*God offers us opportunities to share His love
*We have open eyes, ears, and hearts
*We all stay healthy and well throughout the trip
*The Cuban people we meet are receptive to us and our message
