Today is supposed to be our last day at the orphanage in Cupcui, but we have adjusted our schedule to come back on Sunday to say goodbye. These children are amazing. This morning we made Salvation Bracelets, played with puppets, let them make picture frames for pictures we made of them, and made pictures of ourselves. They are having fun playing with their “American Friends.” Thank you for your prayers and support to make this possible. There have been constant hugs and high fives over the past few days.
One thing that has surprised us is their interest in our cameras. They love to take them and take pictures of themselves and others. They take a lot of pictures and take care of the cameras.
This afternoon we are heading back to Chisinau to go to Bible Study at Stella’s House. We will spend tomorrow with them and then worship with them on Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon we will come back to the orphanage for on last goodbye.
Hey Kathryn, I have praying for you and the team since you left. Stay safe. Dr . C
How awesome this leg has been. You guys be careful and know that many are praying for you back home.
Thank you for sharing God’s love with the least of these. When we were in Moldova two years ago and saw the children hungry for a hug and a smile at the orphanages, I was reminded again that Jesus loves all the children (no matter what age) of the world.
