Welcome to Frazer’s weekly feature called the Breaking Good News! Here you’ll find how your tithing and service is touching and changing lives everyday through our ministries and programs.
Men’s Life
The new Men’s Bible Study, “Fight” is underway with a large number of Frazer men vowing to fight for what matters most! This study is held each Wednesday at 6pm in Wesley Hall and men are invited to join in at anytime. The night involves a video and small group discussion time. Be sure to drop by the Frazer bookstore and get your book and join in the study. Frazer’s pastors Tim Thompson, Patrick Quinn and Brandon Dasinger are participating throughout the study.
The Frazer Volunteer Spirit
Are you connected through service at Frazer? A loyal group of kitchen volunteers gather every Wednesday to help serve Wednesday night dinner. A fellow church goer happened to see this group huddled in prayer before the doors opened and “captured” this snapshot in time, showing what it’s all about. Be sure to fill out the Connection Card during a Sunday morning worship service if you feel called to serve in a particular area in the church. Also, this Sunday, January 24th, attend the Group Connect event at 10:30am-noon in the Fellowship hall. Church staff will be on hand to help you get connected to a small group at Frazer. True growth and fellowship happens in small groups! Get connected today!
Dr. Tim Thompson delighted some students at Redland Elementary recently. Frazer’s senior pastor took time out to read to Frazer Praise team member Misty Trussell’s elementary class at Redland. The children loved it—especially Braxton Gilchrist and Price Goggans who attend Frazer and happen to be in Mrs. Trussell’s class.
Frazer Pike Road
With barely two weeks remaining until Frazer’s launch of a new site in Pike Road, volunteers remain busy getting everything in place. The new site, Frazer Pike Road will begin a weekly 10am Sunday morning worship February 7th. A nursery is available along with a children’s and youth ministry and small group opportunities. Please continue to be in prayer over this first step of Frazer’s 5-10-20 Vision plan—5 multi-sites, reaching 10,000 people for Christ by 2020.
Children’s Ministry
Frazer’s Children’s Ministry is celebrating with Chloe Taylor who chose to be baptized recently on her birthday. Way to go Chloe!
The kiddos are back in school now, but over the holidays, some of Frazer’s children enjoyed an impromptu lunch break at Burger King. Spending time together with food and fellowship always helps ease the transition back after many days off celebrating the birth of our Savior!
This is just some of the Breaking Good News happening in our Frazer Family! Stay tuned for more details of how God is moving through Frazer UMC.
