I couldn’t write yesterday because we didn’t get back to the hotel until late and my body ached..today was very tough we poured concrete all day. I don’t know how we all stayed together and worked as a team as tired as we all were. I did learn some new games yesterday like karate and top destruction. Spent most of the day yesterday trying to master the top toss but failed. Kasey has mastered the karate hiesman (she’s very proud). We did take the afternoon off to play with some of the kids from the community a few of us played on the baseball field while the rest of the group played basketball. Meredith being the smallest on the court scoring with the big boys was pretty impressive. We stayed up half the night because there was a serious soccer match going on in the room next door (thank you Trey and Pruett). In all my years of softball I have never come home as dirty as I did today. I have tan lines from the concrete that was stuck on my body. Covered from head to toe with dirt, sweat, and rock. We almost got the whole foundation poured today for a house! Every one pitched in together and got a great deal of work done! Patrick led the whole day Tuesday and did a fantastic job and Ryan sang for us again last night. Another successful day for us to show God’s love to these people.
