Alex sends his greetings and said to let you know what a great place this is, that we have met many wonderful people from all over the country and have been blessed to serve along side them.
The tour of Chez Hope – Domestic Abuse Shelter – was absolutely amazing. We look forward to sharing with you all that they are doing to help these ladies and their children to survive and rebuild a new life. Some are in their program for a total of a year and 6 weeks and then given a house and furnishings to start on their own. That is just a taste of what they are doing!
We took the “scenic tour” when going to see Alex at his job site. You can ask him about what great direction followers we are. We now know what a Sugar Cane Mill looks like.
After a tour-filled morning, we all settled in to a busy afternoon of work at the Depot. We are looking forward to helping give out food boxes to Senior citizens tomorrow morning.
