When you think of a parachute, you usually think about someone jumping out of a plane just to get a thrill. This is usually done for fun (not for me). Guess what? You don’t need a plane to have fun with a parachute. God’s love was shared using a parachute, a parking lot, and about 40 kids.
Kay brought this huge parachute that had handles stitched around the sides. We had tons of fun with this thing. We got under it, bounced balls with it and “washed” with it. The kids loved (So did some of the “big” kids). I want a parachute for my birthday.
I think we had the most fun “fluffing” the parachute up in the air and then running under it. Those on the outside would then “ruffle” the chute while we were under it. The chute would be raised again and we would run out. It was great.
