Our first whole day in the Dominican Republic was a very busy one, this morning we got up to a beautiful sunny day and a gorgeous view from our balcony. We had a great breakfast buffet with everything from pancakes to baked beans! After breakfast we loaded the bus and Rodolfo took us to “the compound” I really hate calling it that because it sounds so cold and horrible which is quite the opposite of what it really is, so for my sake we are calling it “the mission” for now. 🙂 We arrived at the mission after an eventful bus ride of dodging people, motor bikes, and sometimes random cows, while weaving in and out of useless lanes and other cars.
