Steps to Making Peace
- Call a peace conference
Matthew 5:23-24 “23 “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.”” (NIV)
- Empathize with the feelings of others
Philippians 2:4 “not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” (NIV)
- Plant a peace seed

James 3:18 “ Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.” (NIV)
- Pray for the person
Matthew 5:44-45 “ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. ….” (NIV)
- Make peace with God
Romans 5:1 “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (NIV)
