Welcome to Frazer’s weekly feature called the Breaking Good News! Here you’ll find how your tithing and service is touching and changing lives everyday through our ministries and programs.
Children’s Ministry
A special “Tea Time” delighted “little girls” of all ages at Frazer UMC. The Children’s Ministry hosted the tea for Grandmothers-Moms-and Daughters. The event sold out quickly and participants filled the East Sanctuary sitting at beautifully decorated tables. The guests enjoyed hot tea or lemonade along with scones, cookies, fruit and sandwiches. Guest speaker Mary Glen Grant reminded the ladies how to “Mind their P’s and Q’s” and Mr. Johnny Boyd captured some fun photos in a photo booth! It’s safe to say everyone involved made some memories that will last a lifetime!
Men’s Life
A pouring rain didn’t dampen the spirit at the recent Men’s Life breakfast. Long time Frazer member Mike Henig challenged the men to be bold in sharing their faith and used some personal stories to illustrate his message. Men’s Life invites all the men of Frazer to invite a friend and attend the monthly prayer breakfasts at 6:30am on the first Wednesday of the month and the Men’s Life dinners at 6pm on the third Thursday of each month.
Frazer Pike Road
The weekend is here! Sunday, February 7 is the day Frazer Pike Road opens in the Pike Road School. The new multi-site will offer a 10am Sunday morning worship service, a nursery, children’s and youth ministries along with small group opportunities. Campus Pastor Dr. Patrick Quinn and Worship Leader James Keith Posey have been making the rounds talking to various media outlets sharing the good news! Please stop by and invite someone you know who hasn’t found a church home to visit Frazer Pike Road!
Frazer Student Ministry
DNOW 2016 is Feb. 12-14 at Shocco Springs, so the countdown is on! Frazer’s Student Ministry leaders are feverishly tying the last few things together for what promises to be a deeply meaningful, fun and often life-changing experience. This year 193 students are taking part along with 60 leaders/volunteers. Please be in prayer over this time as students are led in worship and prayer and participate in fun and games!
This is just some of the Breaking Good News happening in our Frazer Family! Stay tuned for more details of how God is moving through Frazer UMC.
