Frazer Students
A new high energy worship night launched Wednesday, February 24, for Frazer Students and youth throughout the River Region. Abbi Brunson and Jerrod Dorminey led the students in worship, and Youth Director Chase Faulk challenged the youth to let Jesus make an impact in their lives and to be that impact in the lives of others. The service, called IMPACT, will happen on the last Wednesday of every month at 6pm in Frazer’s East Sanctuary. Come out and experience IMPACT!
Missions
Thank you to the Twenty Something Sunday School Class for working alongside the residents of Garden Square on a recent Saturday. They did yard work and cleaned out a house through the Transformation Montgomery mission project. If you have a group that is interested in working with Transformation Montgomery, please email transformationmontgomery.com. There are construction, landscaping and tutoring opportunities!
Family Movie Night
Frazer’s East Sanctuary became a movie theatre as families gathered for a free showing of the movie War Room. As Director of Discipleship Susan Fisher told the crowd, this movie is about fighting for what matters—family and faith—by using the power of prayer! Those in attendance were encouraged to get in a small group where real growth happens and where you can pray each other through the ups and downs of life. Concession sales benefitted missions.

Children’s Ministry
Frazer’s 2 & 3 year old Cherub Church friends love to join Mr. Dwain in singing the “B-I-B-L-E”. They jump up and hold His Word high as they “Stand upon The Word of God”!
Volunteers make a huge difference by serving in Frazer’s Children’s ministry—please consider if you have time to share the love of Christ with our Frazer youngsters! If you want more information please email Children’s Ministry Director Cami Culpepper at cculpepper@frazerumc.org.
In this month of love, celebrating Valentine’s Day, Frazer’s K4 class made sweet Love messages for their parents. Moms and Dads were delighted to receive these special treasures from their little ones.
In December, the Children’s Ministry gave out plastic baby bottles to the children and encouraged them to take their bottles home and fill them with coins, bills, or checks to support Sav-A-Life Montgomery. Save-A-Life’s mission is to provide Christ-centered medical, parenting, and life-skill services to abortion-vulnerable women in our community. Our children returned a total of $792.87 in their bottles in February! We are so grateful that we were able to help make a difference for LIFE!
In Christ’s Way
Did you know when you tithe and when you give a special offering to “In Christ’s Way” you’re offering a hand-up to a family in need? Take a look at a sampling of who’s been helped in 2016:
“The mother of three young children had her power restored. She was unable to work when her youngest child was born with severe disabilities. The child has made progress and the mom now has a full time job.”
“Back rent was paid to avoid eviction for a couple in their 50s. He is on disability. She now has a full time job, but was unemployed for a while after downsizing at her former job.”
“A woman in her 40s will have short term disability from her full time job starting soon. She received a partial month’s rent and power payment while she is off work on medical leave.”
In Christ’s Way provides financial assistance for Frazer members or those in our community who are in crisis. The target recipient is someone who normally is able to pay their bills, but due to a family illness or another unexpected situation is unable to pay their normal monthly bills. ICW will step in and pay a monthly bill to help the person get back on their feet. Thank you for giving people that boost when they need it most.
This is just some of the Breaking Good News happening in our Frazer Family! Stay tuned for more details of how God is moving through Frazer UMC.
