What Fills Your Cloud?
October 3, 2015
Colossians 3:12 “Therefore as God’s chosen people holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”
Researchers at the University of Oregon have determined that all of us carry around an invisible cloud of microbes, germs, and dead cells, cast off like a bubble around our bodies. It is so unique it could be theoretically used to identify you as distinctly as your fingerprints. Besides the physical cloud, I’ve noticed that everyone has his own spiritual cloud. Just getting near some people can cause negativity, and misery to rub off. For others, just passing by them can bring you happiness, gratefulness, encouragement, and joy. We may think we are hiding our inner nature within our hearts, but the truth is, it comes out for all to see. What kind of cloud is around you? Will others be blessed by your presence today? Will your cloud bring sunshine or rain to someone? Put a little more love and joy in your cloud today. In the end that is the signature you will be known by. I hope that your cloud and my cloud will show forth compassion, kindness, humility, and patience. That is a cloud that will make a profound difference in the quality of your day.
