In the world we live in today, people rely on many things to make it through life. We rely on other people to get jobs done. We rely on the government to guide our country. We rely on teachers to give us direction for our educations. A question God brings to my attention on a regular basis is, “Are you relying on me?” John explains that in order to bear fruit in the world we live in today, you and I must remain, abide, or rely on God and His strength daily. As believers today, I believe we live our life like an iPhone. In order for an iPhone to do what it is made to do, the phone has to be routinely plugged into the charger or power source. We plug our phones up to be charged then we unplug them and go about our day, and eventually that phone will die and lose its effectiveness. Christians today do the same thing; we plug into Jesus on Sundays and Wednesdays, and then we unplug at some point throughout the week and lose our effectiveness. May you and I walk daily in reliance upon the God of the universe to empower us to bear fruit that changes lives for eternity!

Very good, thanks.
