Romans 12:2 “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Isaiah 43:18-19 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Most of the world experiences seasons that cause change by plants and animals. I love to watch those Alaska wilderness shows that teach you how to survive in extreme and changing conditions. Embracing and preparing for change makes life exciting! Change can be scary, but so is not ever changing. God wants us to be intentional about changing. God reminds us that spiritual growth, being transformed, changing, takes place through the Word of God and that God Himself is proactive in that process. It’s exciting to think about all the changes that God is allowing us to experience in the days ahead at Frazer as we reach out, invite, study, join, minister, trust, and grow! I want to always be willing to change, to reach the lost, and to bring a smile to my Father. It helps me to be open to change when I remind myself that being 3rd is God’s best for me and His kingdom. Always God 1st, others 2nd, and I’m 3rd! I never want to change that!
