Wow, the Christian life is really good and exciting, like a fast car race NASCAR or Road Course! It’s fun, but you can’t keep it going forever! It’s good to take a “Pit Stop” every now and then! God says in Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I Am God!” and I love Isaiah 30:15 where the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says, “Only in returning to me and waiting for me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength. But you would have none of it.” Ouch! I think that means to stop and remember Who I Am and keep everything in perspective! We can get so excited and involved and even overwhelmed in the good things of ministry and life that we forget Who He is! Philippians 2:13 says, “For God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him.” We were made for relationship not just for ministry and work! Today, let’s remember to put several commas or even a period in this day so that we don’t burn out in doing good!
