As I took in Tiger Walk in Auburn with thousands of fans exchanging high-fives with the players and coaches, I told my husband, “We could all use a Tiger Walk; if I had thousands of people greeting me like this as I walked into work, I would feel pretty fired up and ready to make things happen.” Later that weekend I opened the Book of Hebrews and found my Tiger or Spirit Walk in chapter eleven. Get reacquainted with what’s known as the Faith Hall of Fame and you’ll realize you have people filling you up everyday! I can see Noah, who without question obeyed God and built a huge boat in the middle of dry land, standing at my spirit walk with a sign reading, “Listen to God’s voice, you won’t regret it!” And there’s Abraham who by faith moved to a strange land, trusted he would be a dad and came close to sacrificing his son, with a sign reading, “Sacrifice your pride and watch God go!” Hebrews 13:7 tells us “Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you.” I see my mom who died after a 10 year struggle with depression with a sign reading, “Even when life is hard, keep loving the people around you with everything you’ve got!” Who do you see? Don’t miss your cloud of witnesses—get fired up to make things happen for His Kingdom!
