I would like to express my appreciation to these Sunday School classes for contacting Transformation Montgomery about a place to serve on the Great Day of Service. When Kim Bullard, Robin Vandermey, Rudy Heintzelman and myself started the Great Day of Service, one of the goals was to have ministry projects that met Frazer’s mission statement of Win – Disciple – Serve. Another goal was that the projects would be adopted by serving groups for year round ministry. We attended Leadership International in Dallas, for two years, two times a year for three days, we were reminded the serve feast is not a one a year project but it is a starting point. Discovery, Harbor Lights, Believers and Bible Basics have been activity been involved with Transformation Montgomery for several years and we looking forward to them getting more deeply involved.
If you do not have a place to serve on the Great Day of Service or any other day, please join the fellowship groups at Transformation Montgomery as we worship God in both Word and Deed.
I want to share a saying I heard this week:
In six days God Created the the heaven and the earth.
On the 7th God rested.
What did God do on the 8th day?
He sent you to work. Ephesians 2:10
Be doers of the Word, not just hears and talkers
Looking forward to seeing you in doing place.
