Growing up going to church every Sunday, my dad would play Polish music in the car on the way. We would ask to listen to Casey Kasem and every once in a while he would relent. This morning, riding from MOH to Leveque our driver was playing Haitian gospel music and it reminded me of my mornings as a child and how grateful I am that I grew up in a family that honored God and the Sabbath. I pray that our team will do our best to share the love of Jesus.
We helped in the deaf children’s sunday school class too. We finished out our day touring both the main and Bercy campus of Mission of Hope and ate an authentic Haitian meal that was catered into the mission from a local restaurant.
We are all grateful for our less than lukewarm showers, the electricity that comes on at night so a fan can move the air around and especially for the love of our Savior.
