Hallelujah! We’ve completed a week of hard work with the congregaton at Pilon. Saturday we drove by bus back to Havana.
Sunday morning we attended service at the Guanabacoa church where a rapidly growing congregation in bringing Christ to the city’s people. The pastor told us his membership is 550. Two mission churches and 22 house churches have sprung fron the Guanabacoa church.
Pilon was a blessing! We polished tile, sifted sand, and painted the ceiling of the church.
We have met many people associated with the Methodist effort in Cuba – pastors, seminary students, staff, congreagation, and other UMVIM teams. Everything we’ve seen points to explosive growth of the Word of God in Cuba.
We plan to fly out of Havana Monday morning (11/15/10).
Thank you for your prayers.
